Tom Fletcher at work.

I have just learnt that Tom Fletcher once of Nottingham Analogue and more recently of Fletcher Audio has died.

He passed on, on Monday 18th of October at 1.20am.

Tom was and will be still a legend among analogue enthusiasts and his turntables, arms and cartridges have been and are used by countless music lovers round the world.

One of my earliest wow moments in audio was had while listening to a Nottingham Analogue Mentor Reference turntable which I heard in Vinyl/Tube Audio in London many years ago (also sadly passed on) the memory of the fantastic sound that turntable made in that room has haunted me for many years, it was magical.

Everyone at Adventures in High Fidelity Audio want to pass on their best wishes and condolences to the Fletcher family circle.

Tom will be missed by all of us who enjoy quality music reproduction and particularly those of us who value vinyl replay.
